i bought a lappy. here's my thinking. 1) my comp is getting older (3 years now) 2) note taking in class would be WAY easier ... (plus looking at lecture slides and junk.) 3) i do most of my coding at jeff's now ... and it's kinda hard with both of us trying to code at the same time on his desktop. 4) on the weekends when i'm at home, sometimes i need to do work and someone is using the comp. 5) my mom can use my laptop if she needs. 6) it will probably come in handy when i enter the working world too. 7) i got a lot of money for my bday and didn't really buy anything (except a pair of shoes)

that being said. w00t. i got a laptop (or lappy, as strongbad would call it). was debating between the inspiron 700m and 600m ... the 700m is small, sleek, and sexy ... but i got the 600m because i'm blind and i prefer a larger screen size. haha. lame, i know ... but i'm REALLY blind. =/ even with my contacts i always find myself magnifying the window to read things. booo. anyway, i have a lot of friends with the 600m and they seem to be very happy ... sooooo ... here's to a good investment. =]
