yesterday i went to sf with sosho, eddy, natalie, jeff, patti, connie, helen, calvin, john, mike, alex, and pons. we delivered food to the homeless and prayed for them. wowwwww. what an experience. so many AMAZING people. ask me about it sometime. there are a million stories i can share. wow. insane. =] bleed to feel -bj

wow. insane. =P tonight was open wordship at aacf. basically, it was sorta an open mic night, except people just shared different ways they worshipped God (through skits, song, poetry, etc.) fcs sang too ... wowwwww. i wanna be in fcs. haha. they're worship medley ROCKED. wow. we also painted to express our worship to God ... that was ... interesting. =P good though. =] a lot of the stuff was uber impressive ... i was in a group with all guys though. 'nuff said. =P after wordship, we had our service auction! haha. wow. insane ... so many people offering so many services ... ranging from skateboard lessons (plus a skateboard), jam sessions, a day of fun in sf, cooking, cleaning, dc swipes, knitting lessons ... lots of crazy stuff. haha. i won "pons will knit you whatever you want". hahaha. huzzah. the biggest sell was six of the guys (dan, bfan, tim, alex, john, and calvin) willing to take swing dance lessons with six girls (the guys would pay for the lessons). haha. i think each of the girls payed over thirty bucks for that ... haha. crazy. i'd love to see the guys swing dancing though. =P yeah ... all the money raised is helping to cover retreat costs and help purchase a new sound system for aacf. =]]] it was a really cool night. i think i'm going to sf tomorrow with a whole bunch of aacf people ... and we're gonna partner with city ministry and serve food to the homeless. =] broken world -bj

wowww. it's such a JOY doing things for others. haha ... so i baked a bajillion cookies yesterday (using this really awesome choco-chip cookie recipe i found online. so good.) anyhoo, my friend, alex, said he really liked my cookies last time, so i thought i'd bake him some. plus, a frined from ucsd was visiting, so i baked some for her to munch on for her flight back down. then, i rememberd that one of the freshies had been studying for midterms all weekend so i decided to pack him a lil care package of study food. haha ... i packed three of the two jumbo muffins that i bought from costco, a whole bunch of cookies, and two granola bars. then i realized that it was all junk food, so i packed him an apple, orange, banana, and canned drink as well ... anyway, walk it over to him in the units and he was SO appreciative. haha. that was sooo awesome. =]]] plus, it was pleasant making all those deliveries 'cuz it was raining ... i love walking in the rain. mmm. yam yam. *** so, the cds i bought are AWESOME. crazyyy. well, i've only listened to the matt wertz cd and the matt nathanson cd ... i heart them both so much though. i have two more to listen to and like two or three more coming on the way. these cds should last me the rest of the year. w00t. =D falling off the face of the earth -bj
