dude, i LOVE my bio lab group. =] we were having so much fun during our lab today ... haha ... naming our pine cones and such. =P it was funny 'cuz none of the other groups were really talking to each other ... and my group was just laughing like crazy and talking about the most random stuff. haha ... for like ten minutes we were talking about cheesecake. yam yam. haha. i think my group is gonna try to go to cheesecake factory at the end of the semester. =P anyway, our group is the first to finish our lab, so we all decide to go to the free speech movement cafe before our discussion. we go in, and stare at their cheesecake ... haha ... but no one wants to buy any ... so then we go onto the patio thing and study for our quiz. good stuff, good stuff ... we're gonna have a party on monday while we work on our lab report. i'm actually looking foward to working on the report with them. heh. =D then i spent 6pm-midnight in soda. bah. not fun at all. now i'm working on my cs170 hw. bahhhhhhhhh. i see timma a lot, but we haven't really had a chance to hangout recently. =/ tim said we need to get together sometime soon. agreed. haha. =] i missed meeting with my acct. bros on monday 'cuz i was working on my bio report. hopefully i'll be able to meet with them on friday ... so my studying schedule is slowly settling down ... here's what my schedule looks like tentatively. (i have a lot more meetings than this though. haha.) sunday: church 5-6:30 sgl meeting 7-10pm monday: class 8-9 am contact evangelism 12:30-3? accountability 4-5:30pm bio lab write up @ vlsb library either 3:30-6ish or 6-8ish s-team meeting 9-11pm every other monday tuesday: class 9:30-4 cs170 with jenn, jack, and kedar 7-midnight wednesday: class 8-9 tabling 10-11 bio lab 2-6 cs186 7-10ish cs170 10ish-2amish thursday class 9:30-4 (with a one hour break) large group 7-10pm friday (tentative sabbath day) class 8-9 hangout / tennis with michael. 12-4 saturday errands, legal studies reading / reading response, bio reading. plus a lot more time at soda on weeks when cs projects are due. haha ... but yeah ... lots of studying this semester. blah. =P God sustains though. never look away -bj

pastor josh is one cool guy. such a privilege being able to meet up with him today. =] it was a big encouragement too. =] i LOOOOOOOOOOVE my bio group. haha. will, josephine, and walter are all people that i'd wanna spend time with outside of class. haha ... plus they're not the typical, uptight mcb majors. haha. they're all pretty easy going ... and it's actually kinda fun working on the lab report together. =] plus we have the most random discussions ... like about ice cream cake. =P walter's a really funny guy. heh. he was sharing how he played tennis in high school (mt. eden high in hayward. =P), but how he hated it 'cuz he played doubles and was so bad that his partner would always get mad. haha. =P did check-in work for testmasters again today. i truly thank God for this on and off job that i have there ... 'cuz every once in a while they'll call and see if i'm free ... and if i'm ever not free, i just turn down the job ... plus the job's easy, and it's just a good way to earn some money. the cs186 project is ugly. sigh. =/ you know what's odd? every semester i think i've studied like crazy - so crazy that i don't think it's possible to study any harder ... and then the next semeester i seem to study even more. yeah, i thought i studied my butt off last semester ... but this semester i've already spent a bajillion hours in soda on this 186 project ... and a bajillion hours doing cs170 problem sets. aiyah. gonna be a loooooooooooooooong semester. =P hiding behind a smile -bj
chi is my hero. so for over an hour my contact was wedged in the corner of my eye. it was terrrrrrible. my eye was getting all sore and irritated ... i kept pushing, rolling ... nothing worked. all this was going on while chi was asleep too. it was soooo frustrating too 'cuz i was supposed to play tennis. chi finally gets up, holds my eye open and tries to grab the contact. that was ... interesting. feeling his finger on my eye. haha. but yeah, after two or three tries, he finally manages to grab it. now my eyes are bloody red. =/ gonna wait an hour or so before i put my contacts back in. =/ i guess you're the only one -bj
praise God! =] sgl training went pretty well. =] connie made dinner too ... connie and i wanna cook for the sg leaders each week ... so connie made chicken and curry stuff ... very good, but we kinda ran out of food. haha. it's hard cooking for a lot of people ... sigh. haha. we'll probably have to start sticking to the easy stuff ... like spaghetti and fried rice. haha. learning to need You -bj

PLEASE BUY ME a JUSTIN MCROBERTS CD. PLEAAAAAAAAAAAAASE. I WANT ONE. well ... all. haha. =P i should start a cd wish list ... here it is so far: any cd by justin mcroberts, any cd my matt wertz. (i don't have any by either artist.) =] i notice my musical tastes are evolving. i'm into the folksy singer/songwriters now. =] this week is gonna be CRAZZZZY. could use your prayers. =] sunday (tomorrow): sg leader prep safeway sg leader meeting monday: class tennis university hall lunch with pastor josh accountability meeting with josephine, will, and walter (bio lab partners) to work on lab report meeting with tim and dawson to do 186 tuesday: breakfast with jontsai? class until 4 cs170 with jen (and maybe kedar and jack?) from 4 until really, really late meeting with angel? wednesday: cs170 in the morning bio lab 2-6 cs186 with dawson and timma. cs170 the rest of the night. =[ thursday: class until 4 (=[) large group cs186 project w/ dawson and timma? sleep relatively early. friday: sabbath. (but i'll probably be tempted to do more cs186. =[ ) saturday: prep for dship training bday dinner. (RTS: REMEMBER TO MAKE RESERVATIONS for 25!) cs186 in the evening. yeah. no fun. cs186 project due next monday. =[ plus, lots of meetings and junk going on. aiyah. i think i love you -bj
