hello my faithful few blog followers. =] so it's been an long, interesting week. this past week was the last week of summer school ... i moved into my new apartment ... i helped my grandma take down her window blinds and curtains ... we had summer school open house ... i did MASSIVE cleaning of my old apartment ... and i spent my first night in my new apartment. =] i'm glad and sad that summer school is over ... i'll really miss the kids. well, some of them, at least. :-P the second to the last day of school, i met this really cool first grader ... tyler. he's so cute. heh ... and he likes to be held ... the last two days of school he was always climbing onto my lap. on friday, he asked if he could kiss me goodbye. i kinda said "uhhh ..." and then he said, "fine, i'll just hug you," and then gave me a big hug. how sweet. =] the other kids were cute, too. nikki said that ryan wanted to say goodbye to me. harshal asked if we'd ever see each other again. three or four different kids (independently) gave me their addresses and told me to visit them. haha. =] it was all really sweet. i'll miss 'em. =] yesterday and today chi and i did CRAZY cleaning. we were VERY thorough ... we cleaned our windows, the screens, each cabinet and drawer ... the inside and outside of the fridge, freezer, and oven ... we took apart the stove and the fan above the stove ... we dusted the ceiling fan ... DUDE. it was CRAZY work. my first night in the new apt was pretty cool. i REALLY like it. =] the only drawback is that it's pretty far from campus ... haha. but it's cool. i slept on the futon (which is sorta uncomfortable, btw. =P) because there's tons of junk on my mattress 'cuz we didn't have time to unpack yet. =] the passion hymns cd is VERY good. =] pavillioned in splendor -bj

have you ever noticed how some little kids need a lot of physical touch? i noticed that a lot of kids at summer school like to grab my arms and wrap it around themselves. they like being in people's arms. it's kinda cute. heh. i don't think i was one of those kids, though. i think i liked my personal space when i was a kid. =P but yeah ... i don't mind holding kids close to me ... as long as they smell clean. most of them smell like they bathed the night before ... some don't. haha. those i usually don't hold close to me for as long. =P but yeah ... during chorale practice yesterday mikio and jasper grabbed my arms and had me hold them against my body. today, tyler climbed on my lap and told me to squeeze him tightly. raymond always likes getting on my lap, too. heh. awwwww ... how sweet. kids love me. :-P i bought the passion hymns cd. very good. =D there are a couple of really old hymns that i haven't heard before, though ... but most i remember singing at church when i was little. =] and most they added a new chorus, too, to make it more contemporary. =D one of the hymns i wasn't familiar with ... good words, though. i wish i had a million dollars. =P there are a lot of cds i wanna buy. =P SO TODAY CHI AND I MOVED INTO OUR NEW APT! WAHOOOOOOOO! dude, it was so much work though ... i was sweatin' like a PIG. =/ inside your mind -bj

ugh. i'm sick. i was very miserable today at school ... felt so icky. =/ PRAISE GOD ... chi & i signed the lease today! we got our keys! the apartment is pretty nice! the living room is very spacious, and our oven is bigger ... =] you have to walk through the bedroom to get to the bathroom though, so that's kind of weird ... and we don't get much sunlight ... but we have a balcony! haha. so yeah ... overall, i'm very happy. =] there will things that i'll miss about our old place, but a lot of things i like about this new place ... so come visit me! =D just made of dreams -bj
