dum bada dum herm ... i feel so busy even though i'm not. =/ like, i seriously have nothing to do, and yet it seems like i have no free time. it's actually kind of overwhelming. hahah. i still wanna find a job. (anyone know of any? =P) ... wanna visit calpoly and maybe davis ... wanna find a subletter for my apartment so i can move into another place ... wanna start running again, wanna learn geetar, wanna meet w/ pastor pat and talk over leadership stuff with him ... hummmmmmm ... ltc is about a month away ... still excited ... heh. =] God's slowlly providing small group leaders. =] PRAISE HIM! right now we have three mens' small group leaders and one girls' small group leader ... i know God will provide. heh. =] i discipled boytoy today. heh. uhm ... went better than last time. still learning the ropes. =P i think i should prepare more in the future ... going to the giants game tomorrow with eric. heh ... yay ... time with discipler-man. =] it'll be good seeing being able to talk with him. haha. haven't talked to him for about three weeks now. =] the a's can't hit. =[ i'm still a mark mulder fan though ... w00t. =] so after finishing my freshman year of college, within a day i was already missing berkeley ... i missed the dorms, i missed my suitemates, i missed my roommates ... this year it's different. heh. dunno why. i guess it's 'cuz i know i'll see most of my friends again, and i wasn't so sure about that last year ... or maybe 'cuz last year i lived with my suitemates so it was a lot different not seeing them around ... i dunno. i mean, i still miss a lot of people ... i miss timma and alex and kim and vicky and a lot of other people ... but a lot of them i'll see soon ... a bunch of them are going to ltc ... so yay. =] it's a blessing going through isaiah with timma and alex ... =D i think i should go through another book with them after we finish isaiah. =] did i mention that i heart konjiki no gash bell? mmmmmm. =]]]]]]] in the stars across the sky -bj 
konjiki no gash bell is an awesome anime ... if it ever comes out on dvd, i'm getting it. man ... i like it even better than naruto. naruto has a definite cool factor, but konjiki is definitely more me. if any of you watch it, you'll know. it's cute and there's lots of action ... it's funny and it always warms my heart. man ... i love that show. =] it's sooooooo interesting. haha ... and it's more light-hearted than naruto. mmmm ... good stuff. all around the world -bj

so i guess i'll be doing ccs summer school again ... partly because i can't say no, and partly because it doesn't look like i'll find work by then. =[ auntie gloria asked me to do it ... guess they need help with the computer class ... mmm ... sooooo ... yeah. sigh. this looking for a job thing is tough. =/ i still wanna find another job too ... under my skin -bj
just looked at another apartment. very, very nice. =] i liked this one just as much as the last one ... this one (compared to the one we looked at yesterday) had a slightly larger bedroom, a GINORMOUS closet (it was huuuuuuuuuuuge.), and a slightly smaller living room. the dining room was tiled, which was nice. this place was a little more expensive, but still cheaper than what we pay now. this one didn't have a balcony, buuuuuuuuut it has a poooool. =] hahahah. this one probably won't work out though 'cuz the manager said that there are around five people that are semi-serious about trying to get it ... and we wouldn't try to get it until late july ... so yeah. booooooo to august leases ... =/ the drama of redemption -bj

so ... just got back from looking at an apartment. dude ... we really liked it. the bedroom was like the size of our room now, but the living room was a lot bigger. the bathroom and kitchen looked new. haha ... (oooh ... purrty) and there was a BALCONY! whoa. plus, it'd be cheaper than we currently pay ... not too far from campus either ... four or five blocks, i'd say. the only problem is ... it's open now and our lease ends in july. sooooo ... i think we're gonna just hope that no one takes the apartment and we'll try to get it at the end of july. oh yeah ... another cool thing ... it's a month-to-month lease ... so anytime we wanted to leave, we could. heh. that also means that more apartments could be opening up ... so we'll see. =] how the story goes -bj
so this lady calls me as sort of a pre-interview interview. i think i had to do well in the phone interview to get an actual interview. haha ... it was kinda intimidating. she asked me to describe my tutoring experience ... and asked about my background sorta ... and now i have a real interview set up. whoop-de-doo. the only bad thing about potentially getting this job is that it's a one year commitment ... so i'd have to see what the time commitment would be during the school year ... hmmmm ... but they're interviewing a lot of people ... and most of the people have college degrees already. haha ... so ... chances are not that great ... but we'll see. like esther said, there's something to be said for them even wanting to interview me (unless they're REALLY desperate. haha) so today i walked to where my interview will be next week ... MANNNNNNNNNNNNNN it's insanely far! it was five-miles roundtrip. my poor little footsies were dead tired by the time i got back. haha. booooooooooo ... i should find out if there are bus stops nearby. =/ apartment hunting is going slowly ... looking at a place today ... one tomorrow ... will report back later. :-P somewhere in between -bj

so searching for a job is tough work. =[ i've applied to a bunch of places ... still no responses. =[ so far i've applied at -jamba juice -best buy -princeton review -as a typist for some newspaper (typing up classified ads) -research position in berkeley -classroom matters (as a english / history / math / sat prep tutor) hmmm ... still looking for more stuff ... heh heh ... i asked my discipler to pray for me about this ... and he just said that if i don't find a job, maybe God's telling me to rest. we'll see. i really hope i find a job, though ... ***Edit: Oooh ... praise God! a response! pray for me. heh. even if i don't get the job, it'll be fun interviewing. w00t. =] my Deliverer is coming -bj

i obviously haven't played piano for a while. heh. so today i was playing for the community service ... i play transition music while the choir comes up and people shake hands. then when i start to play the next song ("Lord Reign In Me"), i accidentally start in the wrong key. i only realize this when the whole choir is straining their voices to sing so high ... haha. i try to think of a way to transition it lower mid-song ... but that obviously doesn't work ... haha. so the whole time i was laughing, and i think the choir was trying not to laugh ... 'cuz it was really, really, REALLY high. (like "spoken for" high. haha.) my bad. :-P covered by Your love divine -bj
