uber update. it's been a long, hard week. i'm 100% exhausted. EXHAUSTED. so ... let's just say the tutebot is up and running ... we got checked off ... mucho thanks to carise and tiff's friends, chris and joe. all three came down to cory to help us out ... and stayed with us until we got it almost working. =] ugh. it was not a good experience. haha ... although, it was cool to see the tutebot finally moving around ... and then disassembling it immediately afterwards. =P on wednesday, eric and i were walking to vlsb from our time of discipleship. we were talking about church and stuff. i guess this lady overheard us 'cuz she turned around and asked if she could talk to us about stuff ... then she began asking us about random stuff ... gay marriage and the church's stance on that ... evolution, creation, theistic evolution ... the age of the earth ... it was very random. she seemed open, although she had some really odd beliefs ... i basically stood back and just listened / prayed while she talked with eric. apparently she's a bio grad student ... which was cool 'cuz eric's has a background in bio and is going to med school ... so they talked about stuff that totally went over my head ... but yeah. it was just a good reminder that i need to be ready to answer those who want to know why i believe what i believe. it was def. pretty cool though. =] yesterday i was burnt out from my all-nighter the night before ... but it was awesome 'cuz timma and i had an awesome online convo ... just talking about what God's been teaching us ... we had a good talk about Psalms ... about relationships ... about what we've been learning from each other's example ... i'm so grateful for timma. God really has taught me a lot from that bro ... him, ben, eric, and boytoy have probably taught me the most this year ... more than i've learned in any classes ... today was also the last carebear meeting of the year. i'll miss meeting with jo and the rest of the caregrizzlies. hahaha. angus and tiff crack me up ... i know nancy and vicky will do an awesome job next year as they take over carebears and the welcoming/hospitality ministry. we had a good time today of just hanging out, finishing up the frames for the servant team, and taking pictures ... good stuff. =P so the aacf banquet is tomollo. haha. i'm actually kinda excited ... and i normally don't like these types of things. haha ... but it'll be cool ... i look foward to the senior skit. =P mercy me's "spoken for" cd is very good. =] leave the world in wonder -bj

so ... right now it is past 4am ... and i am in cory with tiff working on our stupid tutebot ... SO ANNOYING. carise is here trying to help us too ... we've been working since 8. i hate this so much. booooooooo. =P anyway ... this has been an extremely project ... we have so much faulty equipment ... it's ... yeah. bad. and i think we're building this circuit right, too ... ARGH. yeah ... blah. i think our motors burnt out. ='[ tear. so today ... oh wait ... i hate this. i'll finish this post later ... close every door to me -bj

today was the last aacf large group of the year ... (*sigh*) ... it's been awesome though ... i'd write a nice fatty post, but i'm soooooooo busy this week. =[ but yeah ... highlights ... the seniors led the whole meeting ... it was cool. justin lau would make an awesome pastor. he gave an EXTREMELY powerful message on the sovereignty of God in regards to missions ... it was very, very good. i haven't heard such a powerful message in a long time ... even from seasoned speakers/pastors ... =] it was cool 'cuz the seniors prayed for each class individually, too ... so each class went up and the seniors shared a few words and a verse, then prayed for them ... then we had a good time of fellowshipping / eating the desserts that the seniors made. =] oh yeah, we got our "miracles yearbook" ... basically a journal of anything people wanted to submit ... heh. =] very cool. oh yeah, james dellinger gave me a ticket to his graduation. sweeeeeeeet. i'll miss that guy ... a lot. even though i haven't seen him too much this semester ... he's one cool guy. =] jo (after large group ... going up to tiff and giving her a fat ole hug): tiff, the freshmen are practicing for the senior skit! it's so cute! tim (coming over to me): bryan, i wanna give you a hug just 'cuz jo and tiff are hugging. =P we sang jars of clay's "like a child" today. =]]]]]]]] bridges that i walk upon -bj
i love my small group. leo drove me and boytoy to safeway where we bought stuff for deenar today. we went ALL out. we mad rissoto (sp?) ... basically some rice with shallots, shrimp, lemon juice, and diced zucchini. yummmy. oh, we also added egg whites because we used the egg yolks to make creme brule. wow. today was awesome. i went to living water today ... it was gooooooood. =] then i had a small group leader meeting ... that was good too ... they took time to pray for me and connie ... haha. =P alex and eric prayed for me ... awww. touched. =P then i went to the FCS (for Christ's Sake) conert! MAN! THEY ROCK! they were performing with stanford's testimonty. man. man. hahaha. it ROCKED. stanford's testimony sang three songs ... their last song, "So Subtly" was AWESOME. haha ... they had a big group ... probably almost twenty people. fcs sang ten songs! whoa ... i don't know where to start. it just ROCKED! they also had a HILARIOUS video! dude! so here's the songs they sang ... i loved ALL OF THEM! "emmanuel" michelle branch's "everywhere" avalon's "can't live a day" jeff deyo's "Lord i give You my heart" jars of clay's "love song for a Savior" switchfoot's "only hope" lifehouse's "hanging by a moment" jaci velasquez's "you" jeremy camp's "i still believe" avalon's "testify to love" ben poon and ben yu were HILARIOUS emcees. =P i think my favorite song was "emmanuel" ... although i LOVED THEM ALL! man. so awesome. i also really liked "love song for a Savior" ... but i think that's just 'cuz it's one of my favorite songs period. everyone sounded so good too! man. my buddies joellen, tiff, nate, and leo were way cool! and man! nebula has an AMAZING beautiful, deep voice. it was an AWESOME night ... and they had good snacks afterward! to be only Yours, i pray -bj
