it's funny looking at people's blog addresses. you can learn a lot about people's personalities from just looking at their blog address. look at my sisters', for example. nikki's blog address is gonikki. ummm ... yeah. that's very her. she's very "rah rah, go nikki." haha. jenna's is "lilrockclimber22" ... rock climbers. spunky, semi-athletic, little ... well, "lil" rock climbers, at least. and then you have me. "sillybillybob". 'nuff said. =P take my world apart -bj

chi's friend, peter, asked chi and i to move into a house with him and five other guys. the house looked CRAZY big in the pictures ... three stories ... something like six bedrooms ... hahaha. =P we turned it down, though, without even looking at it ... it would be too hard living in a house of eight guys ... sharing a kitchen, figuring out bills / groceries. haha. =P while i was online i found a place that might work for the two of us ... i'm going to try to call the landlord and see if he still has vacancies ... then chi and i will probably try to check it out. it's kinda far from campus, but cheaper than where we're at now. we'll see ... and so i fade -bj

the PRAYER PARTNER ministry is AWESOME. janette (my prayer partner) and i met with our first person on our list today ... albert. it was sooooooooo encouraging just hearing what God's been doing in Albert's life ... man. crazy cool. it was really a blessing to pray with him and for him ... God's doing some awesome stuff in his life. wow. so cool. mr. chang randomly IMed me today. haha. interesting. =] i met with eric today, too ... heh heh. yeah, to my faithful blog readers, this will sound repetative, but i really like meeting with eric. =P i want to play intramural flag football ... i think i'm getting sick ... =/ OH, the history story. so, today i took a geography quiz in history. after our quiz, we were supposed to give our group presentations ... (my group had not prepared anything, btw. i sat next to one of my groupmates and asked her, "what's this group presentation about?" she said, "i don't know! i didn't even finish the book!" ... haha. anyway, in the middle of the test, my lip starts bleeding profusely ... i mean PROFUSELY. i finish my quiz, turn it in, and go to the bathroom to try to get it to stop ... it doesn't. it's bleeding like CRAZY. finally, it starts bleeding a little less, and i go back to class ... two groups had already gone. luckily, my group had not. anyway, our group is the last group to go. we stand in a line, and one of the guys says, "why don't we all just say something, and we'll go down the line." haha. my group is pretty good at thinking on the spot. i think we were one of the best groups ... and our professor liked our presentation. wheeeeeeeeeeeeee! bless the Lord -bj

foothill freshmen are the best. =] so fun talking with them. i love it. haha. =] large group prayer is gooooooooodah ... good time praying today with alice and shannon ... =] the speaker at aacf today was from regeneration church ... he was SOOOOOOOOOO corny ... but i was dying of laughter when he said, "silly rabbi." HAHAHA. =P so tim is probably gonna be on leadership w/ me next year ... he'll pbb be worship team co-coordinator ... i think all of the ministries have two leaders ... i guess i'll find out more about next year's servant team pretty soon ... kinda excited, kinda nervous ... goes the weasel -bj

i think i'm getting sick ... FUN STUFF! play with FACES! so i ran today ... kinda. eh. i got a huge cramp not too far into the run ... but i did manage to circle the whole of campus ... not bad for my first run ... we'll see if i'm able to wake up tomorrow ... =/ i love my small group ... all the guys are awesome. leo cracks me up, though ... and tim really has an incredibly big heart ... and i talk w/ boytoy all the time ... keith is such a nice guy ... jonwong is so quirky ... tony is ... very tall ... ahha. but a funny guy ... gemmy asks really thought-provoking questions ... soooooo cool. small group was good ... tim didn't have time to cook ... so we just had our Bible study and then we went to sun hong kong ... i was kinda out of it, so i didn't eat anything, but it was still fun hanging out w/ the boys. =] fun times playing with food, too. haha. then tim gets up to leave, and we're all confused 'cuz we were waiting to pay ... turns out tim paid when none of us were looking. =X ... evil, evil. so all of us refused to leave our table until tim let us pay ... but yeah ... we sat there ignoring tim for five minutes or so then we finally gave in ... he said that if we lead small group some week, he'll let us take care of dinner. plus it brings tim joy making sure we're fed ... haha ... so i guess it's okay. another good reminder today about letting others serve me ... so tim drove me and keith ... leo drove the freshies ... so after deenar, tim opens up his car for keith and me to get in ... i reach in and grab my backpack and proceed to start walking home (since i live really close to sun hong kong) ... tim and keith are like "BRYAN! just ride with us!" (keith was so funny. "BRYAN! PLEASE RIDE WITH ME!") haha. but yeah ... i just ignore them and start walking home ... then the next thing i know, tim and keith are right behind me. they said, "since you won't ride with us, we'll walk you home." hahaha. i dind't want them to have to walk me to my apt and then walk back to tim's parked car, so i finally decide to walk w/ them back to sun hong kong. on the way back, tim kinda gently told me that he likes being able to drive us places ... that it really makes him happy. he said i should let him serve me because otherwise it would be depriving him of joy. i asked him why he doesn't let me serve him by like helping him clean up his apartment after small group ... he said he'd allow me to serve him more if i'd allow him to serve me more. so yeah ... good reminder. thanks, God. =] oh yeah, i'm leading sg next week, so tim says i can take care of dinner. =] w00t. what should i make? any suggestions? must be easy to make and very yummy. haha. =] freedom rings -bj
