i like latoya, jasmine, and camille in american idol. =]]] hi. yeah ... like i said in the last post ... i like talking with eric. he's funny, encouraging, and gives good advice. carebear meeting was very "chill" today. (hi vir) =] it was good, though ... we mainly just sang ... and ... erm ... sang. =] haha ... sang different worship songs ... aerosmith ... (haha) ... alex and i were trying to sing like girls ... (alex makes a better girl. =] ) it was goodah. oh yeah ... they had a "catching chocolate chips with your mouth" contest ... joellen and angus took on vicky and alex. haha. joellen and angus won when angus was throwing to joellen and vicky throwing to alex ... vicky and alex won when they switched. oh yeah, i LOVE hearing angela sing "Jesus, Lover of My Soul" ... she has a very sweet voice ... and a very sweet personality. =] she's coooooooool. =] vicky wants me to help name her geetar ... it's blood red ... i suggested "satan" ... haha ... but she didn't like it. =] we rode bart together so i had a good time talking with her. =] oh yeah! a blessing from thursday: so the guy i normally work with in the cs lab (raymond) didn't show up ... but my friend that i work with in the ee20 lab happened to come to my lab section so i worked with him ... (i don't know how to spell his name ... he's korean ... but a WAY cool guy ... =] he commutes from san leandro ... he lives by himself and is a junior transfer) ... yah. it was cool. oh yeah, i was walking around campus late last night to give baked goods to tim and alex for their long drives to so cal ... =] haha ... it's so nice just walking around campus ... so quiet ... lots of police. haha ... i feel pretty safe. =] but yeah ... i like tim. he makes me smile 'cuz he's so easy going ... accountability rocked today. it was weird, though ... dave, henry, and i normally meet every friday at the reflection pool ... so today i get to the pool, and there are a bunch of people playing guitar and singing at the pool ... what's more is they're singing praise songs ... and then i realize they're a bunch of aacf people ... steve, mark, connie, some other people ... yeah ... kinda weird having accountability with all these people we knew there ... but at the same time it was pretty cool, too ... =] dave and henry are GREAT. haha ... such a blessing meeting with those guys i loooooooove hearing nancy pray ... i know prayer is something between us and God ... but her prayers are sooooooo encouraging ... and i know it's not her words that encourage me but God using her words ... but still. nancy is very, very good at public prayer ... she's very composed and you can tell she prays from the heart. =] oh yeah ... 4 way mario kart is fun. haha ... jonathan dominated ... but i had fun just trying to mess up jini ... and chi. haha. =P no white flag -bj
vir came over ... good stuff ... good talks ... especially about what's going on at aacf at slo and at berkeley ... =] very cool talking about where we see ourselves serving next year. baked banana bread and rice krispy treats yesterday. i gave some to tim and alex since both are driving home to socal. i LOVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVE meeting with eric. =] haha ... it's really nice having someone to talk to about anything ... especially about spiritual stuff. speaking of stuff ... we went to lunch at cheese 'n stuff ... then we just sat and talked for an hour and a half. yay. what an awesome brother ... it kinda makes me wanna be a discipler next year. we'll see ... =] upside the head -bj

update for yesterday: met sunny ... cool guy. ... lots of ppl at the aacf table ... went w/ timma to pick up pizzas ... cool small group ... stabbed myself w/ a needle ... listened to a.i.r. ... prayed/shared w/ janette ... good stuff. =] aacf was too cool today. =P we had a "prayer and prays" night. yup. you got that right. prayer and prays. haha ... basically it was a night devoted to prayer ... we prayed for the aacf body, for leadership selection, for our nation, for local churches, for our unsaved friends ... it was really good. and angus shared his testimony ... during his testimony, me, jo, vicky, and nancy (the carebears/grizzlies minus alex and tiff) prayed for angus. heh heh. it was cool ... tom made it out, too ... tom's one cool guy. =] byron came out, too. haha. sweet. i met vicky's friend, lily, and this guy from taipei, weseley. =] very cool night. the aacf freshies are soooooooo encouraging. =] joyce was gonna buy food for people on her frontlines list ... so awesome. and a bunch of the freshies are sharing cheescake tonight. they're so cute. =P i was gonna go to vietnam village today w/ a bunch of aacfers (a weekly ritual. people usually hangout there after large group), but i decided to walk w/ steve to moffit ... 'cuz i haven't talked to him for a while. very, very good talking / praying w/ steve. this semester has been a semester of answered prayers. ask me about it and i'll tell you. heh heh. =] the world behind -bj
