hahahaha. this was on mark choa's, a worship team leader at aacf, xanga. this dream he had cracked me up. "My dream last night (please interpret for me): So I was entrusted to take care of a dog for the evening: a baby daschund named Foolio. Now I had to run a bunch of errands, so I kept the dog in the backseat of my car. I go to the grocery store and then have dinner at the cafe with some girl that I dont know, bringing the dog with me on both occasions. Later on that evening, the owner of the dog (whose name is Justin Louie) calls me and asks me about Foolio. I realize that I had forgotten about him! Oh no! So I drive back to the places I had gone to see if I had left him behind. Along the way I get attacked by a bunch of high school kids who throw things at my car. I had to drive in reverse to escape them. At some point I realize that Foolio is still in the back seat, except he had shrunk and become a hamster. Apparently Foolio needs to be constantly fed, or he shrinks. I quickly take him to get some dog/hamster food, but he shrinks even smaller until he is able to fly! Now he starts flying around and biting people. Eventually I catch him with the help of some really fat lady, and I put him in a hamster cage with no possibility of escape. Foolio gets fed and returns to normal (hamster) size. The End" bring on the rain -bj

so right now i'm baking for the freshies ... 'cuz i'm part of the aacf care team ... heh heh ... who woulda thunk. anyhoo ... made chocolate peanut butter cookies ... not too bad. stupid safeway didn't have any peanut butter chips ... bleh ... in ee40 lab, tiff and i were not the last ones done! YES! and our gsi didn't seem to know how to help us ... haha ... and i met a friend in cs lab! yes! we're gonna work together on future labs. sweeeeeeeeeet. =] here to save the world -bj
i was soooooooooo bad in tennis today ... started to not even try 'cuz i was so off ... my serves weren't going in. michael dominated for the first set and a half ... luckily he started missing in the second half of the second set, so i was able to win ... 3-6 6-4. =P campus is really nice at midnight ... i was walking to unit 2 to jason's dorm room to pick up dana's b-day gift for ben ... it was a nice walk ... and had a chance to pray with jason outside griffith before heading back to my apt. =] lots of interest in the frosh/soph event. i'm glad. =] cs and ee labs tomorrow. bleh. thursdays are not one of the better days of the week. so long. farewell. -bj

so i felt really icky today. bleh. classes are getting harder ... lots of work ... =/ i miss aacf large group ... missed it again 'cuz of my 7-8 discussion ... i'm gonna go to a different one next week, though ... my gsi said it was okay ... tom sugimura called to see if i was still interested in the missions trip ... since i told today i'd help out ... i dunno ... my schedule's so crazy ... he said i could just help out in the afternoon ... but i have classes pretty much all the time ... hmmm ... we'll see ... aacf frosh/soph hangout planning is underway ... we'll probably have it sometime in late feb/ early march. it will be cool ... haha ... photo rally ... good stuff ... vicky and i have lots of cool ideas ... =] i understood my ee40 lecture today! i actually enjoyed it! praise God! i hope i enjoy the rest of the class ... but i'm starting to finally understand node / mesh analysis. =] ee20 labs stink ... especially the take-home part. =/ sooooooooo long ... g'day, mate -bj

so ... my day. today was probably the 2nd wettest day i've ever experienced at cal. well, only the morning was wet. the first wettest day was the day of my philosophy and math final first semester last year ... bah. that was horrible. today was pretty horrible, too. i normally like rain, but i was SOAKED ... ugh. it was actually kinda fun ... i changed my mind. well, now that it's over, at least ... class ... class ... class. all were pretty blah today. it's fun sitting near carise fong during cs lecture. =P oh yeah, tim added into 61c. wheeeeeeeeee! now my small group can have parties at soda. =] went grocery shopping ... bought stuff for this week. came back ... michael, chi, and jini were all playing mario tennis ... tim came and picked me up and drove me to safeway ... we bought stuff for dinner for our small group. he bought chicken and drinks and stuff ... i bought a ten-pound bag of potatoes, some gravy, bacon, and some dinner rolls. we went back to tim's place and cooked ... and watched the warriors game while we were cooking. (they lost. =[) yeah, boiled all 10lbs of potatoes ... tim made fried chicken ... we went crazy with the mashed potatoes. we added TONS of garlic ... a good deal of butter, garlic salt, and pepper ... good mashed potatoes. mmmmmmmmmmm ... so yummy. =] tim's chicken wasn't bad either. first small group of the semester ... i'm thankful for my small group ... heh heh ... even though they're kinda quiet. i have fun with tim and boy toy. =P and since everyone in my small group is in engineering (except for keith), we can all have soda parties! wheeeeeeeeeeeee! =P frank-and-sauce -bj

so i went to living water fellowship for church today. =] pastor james is a pretty good speaker. he's very animated. =P anyhoo, i walk outside ... walk about half a block, and realize that it's raining. it was only lightly raining, so i kept walking ... well, living water is a half-hour walk from my apartment ... and i walk quickly. =P so, needless to say, it started raining a little harder, and i got pretty soaked. when i got to around royston (about halfway b/w my apt and lwf), i see kyle and vicky drive by ... get to lwf soaking wait ... receive a big hug from jon tsai who promptly lets go of me 'cuz i'm so wet. =P and i see kyle and vicky at living water. haha ... shoulda hitched a ride with them. oh yeah, i saw a skunk, too ... on the way there ... running through someone's front yard. it got pretty close to me. i was frightened. haha ... didn't wanna get sprayed before church ... =P yeah, said hi to a lot of people after church .. .didn't stay for lunch 'cuz i wanted to watch the superbowl. =P but i hear they normally have good food at lwf. =] made the half-hour trek back to my apt, and now i'm watching the superbowl. go panthers. =] (it's currently tied, 7-7) survivor all stars tonight. =P ***edit: now the pats are winning 14-7. =/ now that saturday's gone. -bj
