READ THIS if you have time. It's an article by John Fischer on how the phrase "What Would Jesus Do" is slightly faulty. John Fischer is one of my favorite Christian columnists ... I basically agree with what Mr. Fischer says. We should not worry so much about creating a hypothetical Jesus in the context of today's culture. We should worry about what the real Jesus has told us to do - love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength ... love your neighbor as your self ... and so on and so on. In a world of grays, where there are no cut and dry definitions of right and wrong, it may seem helpful for us to ask ourselves WWJD - what would Jesus do. As Mr. Fischer says, in order for that to happen, we must know Jesus Christ pretty well, and we must not let our religious biases and rationalizations get in the way. Ultimately, we need to bring our actions back to the Bible ... what did Jesus actually say? Although it may not be cut and dry, we can't pretend to know Jesus well enough that we'd be able to state with certainty what He'd do in our situation. something need doing? -bj

so, i have a lot of ... errr .... interesting dreams. yesterday night, though, i had the most disturbing dream i've had in a long while. i was at a mall and suddenly the electricity went wacky ... some voice over the p.a. said that a storm was coming. suddenly you could see sparks on the ceiling. everyone was dove and lie flat on the ground. one man who owned a mall kiosk was trying to take down his stuff so he wouldn't be hit by electricity. a huge bolt of lightning hit the man and he disintegrated. the lightning then bounced from the man to this other woman at another kiosk and killed her, too. (it was kinda like the far seer's chain lightning from war3) anyhoo .... yeah ... very disturbing ... very vivid. taste the rainbow -bj
