booo ... michael just called me and said the last three-person apartment at the pretty place was taken. i'm sad. now we have to try for the not-so-pretty place or find a fourth roommate. (*sigh*) ... i keep on falling. -bj 
hmm. i have this sense of impending doom. so we had ct's at h2o yesterday. we had a small ct yesterday. just the four of us. it was good though. we have fun. (dave and his sars. maria and vomitting and pooping at the same time. dave the ccs smoker. haha.) kinda nervous about doing a message wrap-up two weeks from now ... bah. i visited a pretty apartment on friday. (dave thinks i'm gay 'cuz i said it was pretty ... if he saw it, he'd think it was pretty, too.) i could totally see myself living there. pray that everything gets worked out, though ... yumzors. -bj

stephen got me hooked on naruto manga. i like the manga 'cuz i'm impatient and i want to know what will happen next, but i'll admit it takes out a lot of the joy from watching the anime. so stephen took me to see his dad's berkeley apartments on wednesday. chi and I are now officially looking for apartments! anyhoo ... i've never been in an apartment before. it was actually quite exciting. the apartment was nice. i could see myself living there. the walk wasn't even that bad. hmmm ... interesting. i was a little apprehensive about getting an apartment with chi 'cuz i don't know him all that well and i don't talk to him that much. after being with him on wednesday, though, i know everything will be cool. we'd have fun together. yay. i'm so excited. and i just can't hide it. i'm about to lose my cool and i think i like it. -bj
Philippians 3 and Romans 12 are two of my favorite books in the Bible! Here are some good verses: "Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good." (Romans 12:9) "Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor serving the Lord." (Romans 12:11) "Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer." (Romans 12:17) "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." (Romans 12:21) "But whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish that I may gain Christ." (Philippians 3:7-8) "Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." The first line read: "Robert X has a self-defecating personality." -- There are two girls at my school who are dismally idiotic. When asked who was Tarzan's girlfriend, girl number one was unable to come up with a name. When informed it was Jane, girl number two replied, "Come on, that one was so easy I could have answered it blindfolded." -- A classmate got back his graded test in our World History class, in which he scored 76 points out of 100. He pulled out his graphing calculator to calculate the percentage. "Well, you finished that project by the skin of your pants!" i think so, brain, but don't camels spit a lot? -bj

I often like to think of myself losing weight by considering all of the food that I could be eating but that I'm not. For example, I could have stuffed myself with a seventh slice of pizza, but I held off after six. (Hahah ... just kidding ... I only ate two and a half. Still ...) we love to see you smile -bj
I wish basketball games were less emotional. I teared up when watching the NCAA Final Four Basketball Tourney. They played this story of Kansas' star player Nick Collison and how his grandpa, a war vet who had one a purple heart or something, had just passed away. So sad. His strength is perfect when our strength is gone. -bj
